Patricia Treib in residence

ARCH welcomes artist Patricia Treib in residence this September–October.

Patricia Treib is an American painter who lives and works in Brooklyn. Recent solo exhibitions have been held at Overduin & Co., Los Angeles (2021); Bureau, New York (2020); Kate MacGarry, London (2019); Galerie Nordenhake, Stockholm (2018); and Crown Point Press, San Francisco (2018). Group exhibitions include Field of Vision, Peter Blum, New York (2021), and Le realtà ordinarie, curated by Davide Ferri, Palazzo de Toschi, Bologna (2020). Treib has participated in residencies at the American Academy in Rome (2017), the Dora Maar House (2014), MacDowell (2013), and was awarded a 2020 Guggenheim Fellowship. Treib’s first monograph was published in 2020 and features an essay by the art historian Joanna Fiduccia and an interview conducted by the poet and novelist Ben Lerner.
